A tradition that I love so much, Daddy/Daughter date. Yes I still call my dad "daddy" Before my kiddos came around, my dad and I met up 2 to 3 times a week for lunch. If he was working around my office we would always meet up at 11 and get to chat about our lives for about 45 minutes. Then Bay came along and I left my job for another (stay at home mommy) so our lunch dates were few to none. We had to make an effort to do dinners, now adding Miss Braxton to my world and my siblings keeping him busy we had not been on a date in about a year and a half. Of course we never miss catching up on the phone everyday, but it was nice to have one on one time with him. We met up at Zios and barely ate our food and spent most of our time just talking (I know a big surprise if you know both of us chatty cats) There was not a moment of silence. My dad always lets me know how proud he is of me, encourages me to always challenge myself, and helps me to be confident in this crazy world we live in. He gives guidance and motivation with every story or advice he gives. He impacts anyone who knows him; if it has been for years or even just a brief encounter. So to sum up this post I love him so much and hope everyone has someone like him in their lives! I am truly blessed.
