So I know how dorky this is but I impressed myself with 1. my patience with this project and 2. not getting a tad bit upset. Well I was a little upset when I realized that the puzzle Bayler picked out for me to put together had no visual aid and was a 2 in 1 puzzle. It is one of those puzzles that the pic changes when you look at it from different angles. "Mommy lets put my Iron Man puzzle together, it will be so much fun" As I was laboring away Bayler was reenacting the movie Iron Man and would just check in with me to ask, "Are you finished yet?" Well here it is, note to self I am completely fine with staying with the good ole fashion puzzles, I would have taken a small 200 piece puzzle over this eye squinter .

Better enjoy it
Okay first things first, some friends and family joke with me about how I find time to blog, this pic here shows how I do: the kids and dogs are never too far away from me, it is just a game of keeping them all entertained!
We had a relaxing weekend and the weather made it so tempting to play outside so we caved and let Bayler run some of his energy out today. Miss B didn't get to play because it was just a little too chilly for her. Here are some pics from today.

14 months
It is true my daughter is already 14 months, yes today being Thursday the 13th, I remember Friday the 13th in November when she was born. Some may be superstitious, but the Weaver's are not. Bryan's dad was born on a Friday 13th so we loved the idea. She is so much fun, makes us laugh constantly, currently not letting me do anything with her hair so she looks like Cousin It from the Adams Family (hair in the face). She loves the Just Dance Wii games, she dances the whole time anyone is dancing. She is sleeping through the night (Hallelujah) She is no longer drinking out of a bottle, tries to copy anything we do including big brother, so she has lots of bruises and scratches when she hangs with him. She snorts when she laughs, her face flattens when she cries, she bangs her head on the ground when she is mad, and she cuddles when she is sleepy. Happy Day sweet girl!
Who needs to workout
I mean who needs a workout when you carry these two things around all day???? Right, I tell myself I will lose weight and get in shape because I chase two kids around all day.....You know like the movie stars say, "I don't do anything, I am just a mom and that is how I am a size 0" Don't believe it for a second. I need to get my rear in gear. I am not one who diets or does the 7 day a week workout, I am going to give myself weekly challenges. On workouts and food I choose or don't choose to eat. I always shoot for long term resolutions and I am going to approach this one differently. Crossing my fingers it will work or I will really be relying on my activeness with my children to knock these extra pounds off.

I love my job
When the weather gets cold outside and we have days like today, I love that the kids and I get to stay in our pjs (or Bayler's case underwear) all day long. I love Bryan is around a bit more because the weather limits what he can do. Several of our guy friends have their own companies and they always stop by to say hello. I think it is to see me, but they are just that bored! Just a day to do nothing if that is what we want to do.
Bayler got this book from his Great uncle and Great aunt, Mike and Jackie for Christmas.
He loves it!
He loves it!
She just can't decide which book she wants to look at while sitting next to big brother! So many choices
She is on the couch, her new thing to do, she climbs everywhere. And yes she brought her Laugh Top to do a little work while watching morning cartoons

My sweet babies
So I thought I would just give everyone an update on the kiddos. I have so many pics of the kids together but this pic just caught my eye because it shows their personalities. Bayler is always 2 steps ahead of himself. He lives in the moment but also is focusing on what is next. Braxton on the other hand is very aware of her surroundings. She is always checking to make sure everything is in place or as it should be. They play well together but also butt heads on some issues. Braxton is now into everything which makes Bay nervous because he liked it when he could give her something and then she would be on her way. They are both full of energy, if one is having down time the other one is running crazy. I haven't quite mastered the same schedule for the two. Oh well, they make me smile everyday. Bayler is almost 4 1/2 and Braxton is 14months. Time is flying by, my New Year's resolution is (I know I can't believe I am admitting this) but to slow down and just enjoy the moments, even when they are crazy, non organized ones. We as parents teach our children everyday skills, manners, routines, etc. preparing them for the real world, but I have noticed that my children are teaching Bryan and I what type of people we should be. I want to be the person my son and daughter see me as, not perfect but doing everything I can do to always do and be better. Hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week and weekend!

Go out with some fun
We stared our New Years Eve day off right! Bryan's mom made us homemade donuts. They were delicious. It was a great family breakfast. Grampy, Momo, Aunt Amanda, and Uncle Brett enjoyed the breakfast with us. Later that evening we picked up some mexican food and headed over to the Wright's house. We had a great time ringing in the new year with them (well the kids made it till 10:45) We actually went and spent the night at my moms house (it right across the street) I am excited to see what 2011 has in store and making more memories and starting some new traditions with my little family!
