He's growing up

My little boy is growing up.  He finished his last day of Pre K on Friday.  I am so proud of him and can't believe he will be in Kindergarten next year.  Time is just going by to quickly.  On top of that he lost his first tooth on Tuesday.  I am trying to slow down time, but that's not working so I am really going to try to start documenting our everyday lives better so I can remember each and every moment.

Happy Birthday Gigi

My mom's birthday was last Thursday and we spent the day at the zoo.  It was a fun day.  A little hot but this is only preparing us for Oklahoma summer.  We ended the evening with pedicures and then Bryan took us all to dinner at Trappers.  I know my mom had a very Happy Birthday!

SO PROUD OF HER

My little girl had her first gymnastic recital last Wednesday.  I have been attempting to post videos but my computer is not wanting to do the same thing I am wanting it to do.  She did so good!  It was fun to watch her do some of the individual routines.

Love you Miss Braxton

Great Movie

So Bryan, Bayler, and I met up with my dad, stepmom, sisters, and brother to watch The Avengers.  Wow what an awesome movie.  We all loved it.  From my dad 50 years young to my 5 year old son and all of us in between, we were all entertained the entire movie.  Bayler and Bryan's favorite character was Captain America, my sisters was Thor, I loved Hulk, and the verdict is still out for my dad, Sherri, and Q's fav.  But we all agreed it was one of if not the best movie we have all seen.
And you might be wondering where Miss Braxton was, she was with her Gigi enjoying one on one time.  Baking cookies, wearing lip gloss, and having the whole house to herself (since Bay wasn't there to boss her around)

Love my family, love spending time with them, love that they are there for us whenever we need them, and love that they love us as much as we love them.  Hope everyone has a great start to their week.

Things we have been doing

So a week from yesterday Bryan and I went to the bedlam baseball game.  It was suppose to be the whole family but my kids got the stomach bug and my mom was so NICE to offer to watch them so we weren't out all 4 tickets.  Now don't judge, I made sure my kids were doing better before we left, so my mom just enjoyed an evening of napping with them, with the occassional "gigi I think I am going to throw up"  And in case you didn't know, OSU won the game we were at and the series.  Can you stop Bryan and I?

Last Monday I started Real Estate school.  I am taking night classes and Bryan is playing Mr. Mom.  Please keep your fingers crossed that I will absorb all the info and pass my exam in June!!!!

My brother Quinnlan turned the big 13 on Thursday!  Can't believe he is a teenager.  He is an awesome kid that is so creative it is scary.  He builds - takes apart - and rebuilds pretty much anything you can think of.  We love you Q
I am blessed with many great mommas in my life but on Sunday I was especially grateful for these 3 ladies.  Of course my mom aka Gigi, then my bonus mom Sherri aka Nana and then my wonderful mom in law Shelley aka Momo.  Wonderful women to look up to, to share stories with, and to always have in my corner whenever I need them.
We spent Sunday morning with Shelley at her church, and then came home to host a mom's day with my mom, 3 aunts, grandmother, cousins, and other family members.  I think all of our faces hurt from laughing so much

Me and my babies.  Though in recent days these "perfect" kids have been driving me up the wall, I wouldn't have it any other way.  I love my mommas boy Bayler and my mini me Braxton.  They never forget to tell me how much they love me or give me that extra squeeze around the neck to show me how much they love me.  My only wish for myself is that I remember every second of time I spend with them because time is flying by and I don't want to forget all my moments we share.

To my mom, I love you so much.   I love being close to you (as in Yukon) and also mother/daughter.  I hope as years go on we continue to stay close and lean on each other for support.  Thanks for all you have done, continue to do, and what you will do.

PS you are gorgeous
