Great Movie

 So Bryan, Bayler, and I met up with my dad, stepmom, sisters, and brother to watch The Avengers.  Wow what an awesome movie.  We all loved it.  From my dad 50 years young to my 5 year old son and all of us in between, we were all entertained the entire movie.  Bayler and Bryan's favorite character was Captain America, my sisters was Thor, I loved Hulk, and the verdict is still out for my dad, Sherri, and Q's fav.  But we all agreed it was one of if not the best movie we have all seen.

 And you might be wondering where Miss Braxton was, she was with her Gigi enjoying one on one time.  Baking cookies, wearing lip gloss, and having the whole house to herself (since Bay wasn't there to boss her around)

Love my family, love spending time with them, love that they are there for us whenever we need them, and love that they love us as much as we love them.  Hope everyone has a great start to their week.

Lindsey's Night of Fun

 On Saturday we rented out The Manor in Banner and made it a night to remember.  Celebrating Lindsey's last couple days being a single woman.  We had so much fun with so many fun ladies

Well as much as I would love to say Bayler was SO EXCITED for his new toy I think Bryan was way more EXCITED. He has been looking for Bayler a 4 wheeler for a while now, and glad we held out because we got this one for a steal. So it was double exciting for Bryan, now he is trying to convince me he needs one too! Let's hope we can find one for a good price!Bayler and Braxton adventuring before they decided to ride/drive the 4 wheeler, of course Miss B just got to ride and she would yell, "faster, faster"

He could go as fast as he wanted, wherever he wanted but because he has a little bit of my personality he circled around Bryan and I and made sure he didn't go too fast! He is my timid child, while my daughter on the other hand didn't think it went fast enough! I am in trouble.

Our weekend

On Friday April 6th 2012 our family lost an amazing woman. My grandmother Jeannie Chester. She was my dad's mom. She had 7 children and 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was a woman of faith and finished her life asking only one thing of her loved ones "Listen to the Words" God's word that is. It would be an understatement to say she talked the talk and walked the walk. She is loved and admired by so many. She truly has a special spot in everyone's hearts. She was the type of person that found anyway to talk or relate to you and she would bring God's word into whatever situation good or bad you were in. My heart breaks for my daddy, who just recently lost my Papa (his dad) and then now losing his mom and also leading her memorial service. He did so with an open heart, caring words, and hopefully opening many people's hearts to our Lord. Each day will get easier for everyone but she will never be forgotten and as my dad said, "we will honor her for the rest of our days"

Where have I been

So I have been an awful blogger lately, but seems like we have been so busy lately. March is filled with ending indoor soccer, my birthday, starting outdoor soccer, and our first season of T-ball. Plus I had a girls weekend! Weekends are all filled up pretty much till May. I love a busy schedule. It gives us things to look forward to. So here is a summary of our past week. Had my birthday party on March 10th and it was a blast. Friends and family came out and made my night one I will always remember. Sunday was a lazy one, watched movies and waited till my dad called me so I could get my babies. Monday - Friday was pretty normal, Bryan bowling league, Bayler practiced T-Ball and Soccer and Miss Braxton's gym class. Friday morning I rode with my momma to work so she could drop me off at my girlfriend Lindsey's house for our girls weekend. We went and stayed at the Gaylord Texan Hotel. It was beautiful and will be taking the kids there this summer. It has a water park and across the street is the Great Wolf Lodge. Our weekend was filled with shopping at Northpark Mall, eating, drinking, sleeping, massages, shopping at Grapevine, eating, sleeping and then it was time to come home. So much fun. So many laughs. I loved getting away (especially with the ladies that I was with) but I missed my hubby and babies. We were suppose to go with some friends to the lake but things didn't work out as planned and now we are all cozy in our home will it rains like crazy outside. Great start to Spring Break.

Happy birthday to my cousin Nicole. We have been best friends since the day I was born. We all had such a fun time celebrating her birthday on Saturday. She use to give me a hard time because she was older than me....but now that we are turning 30 I must admit I don't mind her being 30 a couple weeks before me, I can still say I am in my 20's just a bit longer! LOL

We all got together to celebrate the engagment of two amazing people. Ryan and Jami are great friends of ours and wish them nothing but happiness. It was a great night with great friends!

Not a way to start

We have already had a fun/interesting weekend and it is only noon on Saturday. Bayler had his first sleep over. Well he hosted his first sleep over with his best bud Wesley. He had been counting down the days all week. The boys did great. Pizza, popcorn, movies, adventuring, and then attempting going to bed. It took about 30 minutes for them to finally fall asleep. They were making each other laugh, telling stories, and pretending to snore. Lots of giggles before they dozed off. Donuts this morning and then Wesley's momma came and got him. About 10 minutes after they left and about 5 minutes after Bryan left, there was a loud scream/cry from the backyard. I look out and Bayler had stepped on a nail. Frantic I called everyone I knew and got all the answers we needed and now my Saturday looks back on track. Hope everyone has a fun and safe weekend.

The Annual Dirty Santa/dinner with my dad's side

Every year we all get together and have great food and play dirty santa. I haven't played the past couple years, kids make it hard to enjoy the game. Not others people's kids just mine. They have a way of distracting me. Either way we still go and get to see my family. Bryan and I stay in Yukon on Christmas so I miss seeing everyone on that day so I am so blessed they do an early get together.Me and my Dad
