Growin up

So this is my little boy looking so big.  He had dentist appointment this morning and it only confirmed that he is growing up, no cavaties, 2 loose teeth, and molars coming in.  I enroll him in Kinderarten on Thursday.  I am so excited for all the new beginnings but also a little sad because it is going by so fast:  Here is a little bit about Bayler right now, he is wearing size small in boys (6-7), wears a size 1 in men shoes, growing his hair out, loving all kinds of food, he has practice almost every night so he pretty much is starving and eats everything on his plate (plus 2nds) once he gets home.  Going to bed and staying in his bed all night.  Still has the best imagination.  Helps around the house, always has good reports from school, best friends are Wesley and Steeler but has tons of great friends.  Still loves his chocolate milk and blankets in the morning, is a mommas boy but loves acting like his daddy, it is a hit or miss on being a good big brother or should I say nice brother, depends if he finds it funny to pester her or not!  Love you Bayler

Here is Miss Braxton, I am a little younger in this pic but she saw this and said, "Braxton?" so I thought it confirms we look alike.  She too is my growing machine, she is wearing size 2T to 3T and size 8 in shoes.  She loves picking out her own clothes and shoes.  She was my child who was a good eater but she currently is excersising her right to say yucky or yummy (we are working on this) she too is getting her 2 year molars in.  She falls asleep in her bed and currently comes to our room around 3 or 4am every morning saying she is scared.   She loves walking up to Bayler's school and seeing him and all of his friends, she will start next year.  It is also a hit or miss on her being a "good sister"  she likes to pick and choose when she will be nice, mean, cry, or kick Bayler.  We are working on being kind in the Weaver House.  All of us! lol She loves the color purple, butterflies, and high heels.  We are working on the transistion from bottle/sippy cup to big girl cups.  She wins this battle when it comes to drinking her milk.  It is funny how she goes from mommas baby to big girl in a second.  Love you Braxton

Big girl bed

Bryan and I have been enjoying uninterrupted nights of sleep, so we thought what the heck why not take our chances and break Braxton's bed down to a toddler bed. Crossing our fingers she stays in her room/bed all night long. Will keep you posted.

She's turning 2 and I can't believe it

This cute little girl will be 2 on Sunday and I can't believe it.
She on the other hand thinks she is the same age as her brother. Always has to be doing whatever he is or at least telling him what he should be doing. We are having a very girly party!
"Lip Gloss, Lollipops, Pink High Heels "2" top it off!!!!
Cupcakes, cookies, and at her gym class with all of her favorite people
These pics are from the other day when my children decided they wanted their pictures taken.

My have the years gone by

Look at my sweet little boy. He has gone from long blonde hair and chubby cheeks to a slender spiky haired and green eyed 5 year old. I know it gets said all the time but man does time fly by. I remember finding out we were pregnant, then finding out he was a HE. Bryan and I walking around the hospital to get my labor to progress, bringing him home, potty training, first day of Mothers Day Out. And now he is in Pre-K, an awesome big brother, constantly in character, a chatter box, and always chillin in his undies. Even though he is the big "5" he still loves his blankets, loves his chocolate milks, has to love on his mommy, play fights with his daddy, and continues to have the same smile he had even when is was my tiny baby. As our lives continue to be jam packed with activities Bryan and I try to make it a point to slow down and watch /remember our babies growing up. We can't believe it has already been 5 years! We are so proud of our little guy and can't wait to see what this year holds for him.
Happy birthday Bayler

First day of Pre K

So the night before my little guy's first day of Pre K. Yes he will be going to the same school, but he goes everyday and will be 5 in 2 weeks. I can't believe he is growing up so fast
Look at this sweet face. He told me he would stop eating his veggies so he could stay little for me forever ( I of course thought how sweet, but I know he was trying to get out of his veggie dinner)

Can't have a pic without an onwry pic
Love you Bayler McClane, we are so proud of you

Friday Photoshoot

Just wanted to snap some photos of my kiddos today, of course never could get both to look at me at the same time, but oh well!

Can't believe this little hot shot will be 5 in September. He is my sweetie pie. He is all boy (with a momma's boy attitude)
He is rough and tough with a kind heart.
And Miss B, she is 19 months going on 13. She is such a hoot to be around, but watch out because this girl has Sass. She pretty much runs the house, and I am embarrassed to admit that. She has her daddy wrapped around her finger, her brother (even though he won't admit it) being her best bud, and keeping me on my toes at all times.
Of course I had to get in some pics.

Man times is flying by, I can't believe when this year is over Bryan and I will have a 5yr old and a 2yr old.

Snip Snip

I finally could not stand the constant hair in the eyes, the pulling ponytails out, and with allergy season in affect the hair stuck to the face with snot!!!! I know gross right? Well I went to my friend Robin and she got to work on this little diva. Braxton had a cracker in one hand, a ring pop in the other and still she was not entertained! So Robin paused, got her a play phone, cut cut, paused again and I had to jump in the seat with Miss B, cut some more, then finally Robin found the winner - a mini piano and finally the haircut was complete.

Isn't she a doll

I may not be bathing suit ready but they are

My kids are loving the outdoors. We go outside before dinner - we go back outside after dinner. I love watching them play and explore together. My mom and I were talking about how everything is always so new to the kids. Bubbles, sprinklers, sidewalk chalk, etc., they are so excited as if it was their first time. They are growing up so they experience it all over again; they see if differently with each new year. I love watching their happiness with some of life's simplest things. Seeing them so joyful makes my cheeks hurt from smiling so much. I know it is mid April but the weather was beautiful and I thought why not, Bayler was super surprised when I said, "Sure you can play in the sprinklers"
"Your the best mom ever!!!!"

Please note: we are remodeling our landscaping so don't judge the nonexistence of flowers and lack of flower beds!!!

The Right Spot

I don't understand it, but it is now a common thing both my kids share. Pooping under the dining room table. Braxton is almost a year and a half and Bayler was a year and a half when his pics were taken. I have no clue, maybe privacy but still in the mix of whats going on. Maybe they like to feel like giants under the table since their heads can touch, or maybe they want to drive me crazy.....nothing like making breakfast, lunch, or dinner and poop smells are over powering your cooking smells. Love these two - if this phase is anything like Bayler's we have about 2 more months of the Dining Room Potty!

Happy Bday to Me

Yea!!! Today is my birthday. I have had such a great week. I am so thankful for my life and all of the loved ones I have in it. In 29 years I have learned to love love love my family. They are so important in all chapters of my life. I have realized it is okay to mess up as long as you learn from your mistakes. I have learned to laugh......at myself or just find the funny in situations. I have watched my parents, go from guiding me to the present day to becoming some of my closest friends. I have fell in love with a man that I like to think of as my better half. I have become a mother to 2 amazing children. I find myself stunned that God gave them to me! I have felt complete sadness when I had to trust in God and his plan for me when Bryan and I lost our first child in my first trimester. Once again our families surrounded us at that time and helped us through it. My life has been filled with happiness, sadness, craziness, and complete fulfillment. I am still on my journey in life, still messing up, still learning, smiling, laughing, dancing, singing(no one needs to hear though) My dreams have changed throughout my 29 years but I know my dreams for my future today are to be the best parent and wife I can be. Oh and become the NEXT AMERICAN IDOL!!!!! Totally kidding, I know I am too old now to try out ;)

My Last Year in my 20s

One of the best nights I have had in a long time. My feet were killing me. My eyes could barely stay open yesterday because I was up way past my bed time. But all was worth it to be with these great people who were all there just for me. I love them all! We had great food, great company and thanks to Grady's 66 pub great music for us to dance the night away, and we did just that! Loving life today!

Thanks everyone, you made me feel super special

A couple more

I am so tired from a night of good times with great people so this will be short and sweet. Love the pic of me and my daddy. I am proud to say that he is one of my best friends and makes my life a better one for just being in mine. I hope to be the parent he is to me to my children.

Happy Sunday

It's Party Time

We are celebrating my bday tonight with family and friends. Bryan's parents are keeping the kiddos so that we can go have some fun. Today is not my official bday but it is party day. I celebrate my bday the 1st - 9th. Use to be the whole month when I lived at home with my mom (she spoiled me) but Bryan has reduced it to the first 9 days. Hey I will take whatever I can get. Hope you enjoy the pics and have a great weekend!

My Little Girl

Never in a million years did I think I was honestly going to have a little girl. Bryan and I had trouble getting pregnant for the second time and with Bryan's side of the family all having just little boys I didn't know if we would even have a little girl. So when the day of our ultrasound came and I was asked if I liked the color pink my eyes just filled up with tears. She surprised us when we found out we were expecting and then surprised us when we found out she was a she! She brightens our day and makes us laugh all the time. We love you Braxton!!!!!

Another post about myself

Love this pic of me and my mom.. I can't believe how tiny she was only a couple months from having me. I am still trying to get off lbs from Braxton......1 year later. Give me your secret mom. We were at my Grandpa Johns on this day.

Here is a pic of me getting ready to go who knows where but I do believe my mom has me dress to a T. Matching hat with outfit. Love it. Knowing my mom she was probably matching me with something pink on herself. She still to this day asks what I am wearing before she decides her outfit just by chance she might have something in her closet to match. Gotta love her!

Happy Wednesday to all

I am here

Look at that young and gorgeous couple. My parents, my dad was 20 years old and my mom was 18 years old. Wow I couldn't even imagine having a baby that young but they did and boy did they spoil and love me. I was born March 9th 1982. My dad says I was due early and my mom says I was 10 days past due. Since experiencing motherhood I am going to go with my mom on this one. Back then you stayed in the hospital for a couple days after giving birth and with a C-section you stayed even longer. So my mom and I were in the hospital for 7 to 8 days. This pic below is the day I was getting to go home!

Okay so if you know my family this pic is a pic that was always taken at any and every gathering. The sisters and mom lined up. Photo shoot!!!!! So because I was the newest addition and a girl I got to be in this one photo. I have not been in or asked to be in their traditional photo since. Maybe one day I will pull out the years and years of line up photos to show you guys. These are my aunts (mom's sisters) and my grandma (Gammy)

Since I was a March baby, my first holiday was Easter and here is a pic from that special day. My mom saved many of my outfits, and we have put Braxton in some of them. Super fun to play dress up.
Hope you guys have a happy Tuesday. My little girl and I are under the weather!
