Vacation here we come!

We are heading to Broken Bow for the 4th. I am going with some of my favorite people, my kids, wonderful husband, best friend my mom, and my ever so wonderful cousin Jake. Yes I have many more favorite people but the cabin can't hold them all. We are going to go fishing, canoeing, and just a little R & R. Hope all have a wonderful holiday weekend. We are going to be missing some family gatherings but we will be there in spirit.

Oh and as you can see it has a fully furnished Tipi. It is going to be so much fun, Bayler wakes up everyday and asks, "Is it time to go on bacation".....I correct him with vacation but sometimes when he says words wrong like that it lets me know that he is still a little boy growing up everyday.

Fun Times with Fun Friends!

We had a great weekend. Bryan and I cooked out on Friday and just enjoyed our pool. Braxton went to sleep early so we got to focus our attention all on Bayler. He was so excited when we let him swim after sunset. Our pool was 87degrees so we thought what the heck. We ended up swimming till 11pm. Bayler had a blast. We all did. Then on Saturday my mom and cousin Jake watched my babies so we could hang with my cousin and her husband and our friends Chrissy and Brad. We spent the whole day outside and celebrating Chrissy's birthday. Then Sunday we were off to celebrate Ames's 1 year birthday. Bayler always loves going to aunt Traci and uncle Matt's house to see his buddy/cousin Steeler. We unfortunately had to leave because kids were tired oh and Bayler destroyed Traci's nicely made bed! I still feel bad for that. Sorry girl. We had so much fun and love that we get to spend time with family and close friends every weekend. Hope you all enjoyed yourselves too!

Congrats to two wonderful people. Tim and JoAnn we love you and can't wait for all the fun there is to be had! You guys are perfect for each other!

Uh Oh, Moment of Terror, Miserable Fun

We had a wonderful weekend with friends and family. The kids and I got to see my dad on Saturday. It was great fun. We got to see Mark that evening. More fun. Then we woke up Sunday morning made a great breakfast. We enjoyed the morning with my mom, Jake, Papa John and Susan. Then Bayler begged Bryan and I to take him to the air show. Yes at like 2pm. We knew we were going to be hot so we took bottle waters and lather ourselves in sunscreen. Just minutes before entering into the parking area Bayler yells he has to pee. Bryan tried every which way to get to the parking area so he could go to the restroom but he eventually had to pull off the road for the world to see. But unfortunately Bayler had already started. So I pulled him out and yes my child finished peeing on the side of road. We dealt with that issue. As we were getting back in the car very close to the air show a jet going very fast flies over our head and if you have ever been you can only imagine the sound it makes. Well Bayler had no clue. I watch my son tremble with fear. A good minute went by before his cry actually was heard. He had so many tears in his eyes it was hard to even see his pupils. So we pulled off the road and dealt with that situation. Thank heavens this time Bryan made it to an area where we were able to see a good view of the show. We showed Bayler which ones were loud and how we would cover his ears so we watched the show from Bryan's tailgate.......For about an hour then Bryan said I think we should go ahead and go in to see the finale of the show. By this time Bayler was having a blast so we went. And we walked, and walked and walked! Oh and we were sweating, and sweating, and sweating. We made it in just in time to see the finale, the boys walked thru jets and airplanes. Great day with great people and one we will never forget!

Happy Father's day Honey!

Here is to a man who makes us happy everyday. We love him so much and love all that he does for us. He has such a special relationship with our children. I love watching them get excited to see their daddy, and I love watching Bryan being with our children. I get to experience parenthood, marriage, and all factors in life with him as my partner. I am blessed that he is the father of my children. I wish him the best Father's day ever and I will try my hardest that it comes true! I love you honey and thank you for all that you are!

Here's to my daddy

I just want to wish the world's best daddy a happy father's day! I love my dad so much. He is an amazing man. I love our weekly talks, miss our lunches we use to have (when I was working) but love to see him any chance I get. He is an amazing role model for my children and I think the world is a better place because he is in it. I know a bit extreme but if you know him you know I am exactly right! Hope all daddy's have a great weekend!

She is growing up

So my little girl will be 7 months tomorrow. She is such a great baby, and I can't believe how time flies. She is crawling, saying mama, eating stage 3 baby food, and now her fav drinking from a sippy cup! She brings such joy into our lives. She loves her big brother so much. He is the only one who can make her laugh so loud that she snorts. They get along very well, until she crawls to his toys and puts it in her mouth, then Bayler gets a little upset. The joys of having two!!!!Hope you have a great weekend!

A lazy Sunday

We had a pretty low key weekend, but definitely took in the beautiful weather. We had friends over Friday evening, stayed up way too late, but good times we were having.....The kids and I went to a birthday party at the park on Saturday. It was too hot for Miss Braxton so I took her to my moms (left Bayler in my friend Brad's care, crazy I know) But Brad and Bayler are buddies and everything went smoothly. Bryan and I went to a friends house for a little that evening, but I was exhausted and actually fell asleep at my moms with my babies. Braxton, Bayler, and myself were all asleep by 9 and didnt' get up till 10 the next morning. Much needed rest for all of us. Today we just played in the backyard and swam in the pool! Man I am going to miss the pool whenever we sell this house. Better enjoy it while we have it! Hope all had an enjoyable weekend as well!

Last day of school

Bayler finished his last day of school the Thursday before Memorial weekend. He loves his teacher and his friends. He is going once a week to the summer program. This gives him time with his friends and gives me and Braxton some Mommy/daughter time. He will go 4 days a week next year. It amazes me how much the little guy knows. He loves when we read to him and now Braxton is interested too! They bring such joy into our lives and we are thankful everyday for God giving them to us!

Good Morning Mommy

Just wanted to share my son's new findings this morning. Usually we wake up feed Braxton, Bay has a chocolate milk and then we go outside to water my flowers. On a normal morning Bayler would hunt for toads, well this morning was a bit different. I can only be grateful that my husband had come home briefly from work to help us with this finding. Yes you saw it, it was a snake, a very angry snake. Considering my son is not scared of anything he was about to pick it up before he said look a snake. I immediately yell, "Don't pick it up, lets get your dad" Bryan sweeps in and removes the snake from our backyard. Oh I don't know if I will be able to handle such an outdoorsy son. Please keep me in your prayers!

I had to post a pic of me and my man dressed up. Considering we do it like maybe twice a year!!!Bryan looks hot!

Memorial Weekend

We had a fun and busy Memorial weekend. My mom was off on Friday so we enjoyed the day outside laying by the pool. My cousin Nicole and her boys came out. We had tons of fun but Bayler and Braxton were completely exhausted that evening. We had both kids in bed asleep for the night at 7. It was crazy. My mom and I watched a movie, The Lovely Bones. It was kinda creepy but a good movie. We woke up Saturday, went to the airport to pick my cousin Jake up. He will be staying with my mom for several weeks and working for our buddy Brad, Wrightscapes. We then took the kids to my dad's for the evening. They were watching them that night because we had a wedding to attend. We had a blast catching up with friends and dancing the night away (well my mom and I danced) Bryan just enjoyed the company. The kids had fun also at my dads. Kelsy and Kailey tended to Braxton while Sherri took Q and Bay to the park. We had a great night out but definitely missed our babies. I picked the kids up early Sunday and we enjoyed the rest of the weekend just hanging by our pool. Hope all had a wonderful and safe weekend as well.
